Holly Sechrest

Holly Sechrest is an independent group health insurance agent and specialist at Lone Star Benefits. She became a licensed agent in 2005, after getting her feet wet first in customer service. Holly worked her way up to Principal of Lone Star Benefits in 2012. Holly has a passion for helping small and mid-sized business owners navigate through the health insurance marketplace. Her focus is on providing superior solutions and year-round support to her clients. She serves a growing list of clients in a variety of industries including hospitality, technology, medical and dental services, legal services, non-profit, residential services, automotive and more. Holly considers the firm’s clients her friends, and takes great pleasure in helping them in whatever way she can.

With an eye for detail and a drive for perfection, Holly helps her clients to analyze their benefit options and find new ways of reducing their health care costs while maintaining broad coverage. She has a knack for educating and communicating benefits and key health care laws to employers and employees and considers it her daily goal to simplify the complexities of today’s health insurance system for those she works with.

A native of north Texas, Holly holds a degree in speech communications from Texas A&M University. She married her high school sweetheart, Marcus, in 2005, and they have four kids. Holly also finds joy in serving through Stonebriar Community Church, global missions work, the Metrocrest Chamber of Commerce, and with several non-profit organizations in the community. In her free time, Holly enjoys spending time with family and friends, running (a proud marathon finisher), traveling, and sipping coffee and wine – though not at the same time.
